After group shots, we headed to the terrace for the ceremony. In their vow book, F+C had their officiant place a funny “MEME” picture inside to calm their nerves of having to read them aloud to each other in front of their families. We absolutely loved this detail and felt it added a special touch that was unique to them! (you’ll see the reaction in the photo below!)

A quick bustle and the terrace was cleared from chairs and revamped for the couple to have their first dance. Guests were given a glass of champagne to toast to the Bride + Groom then it was off to the races ( ….well group photos) in a vintage white trolley!

Our final stop was Gracie’s Restaurant for the reception. Guests were offered freshly shucked oysters and a variety of delicious passed hors d’oeuvres as the sound of a harpist & violinist added to the romantic ambiance. Dinner included a 5-course meal with entrees ranging from Rigatoni Campanaro with sweet & spicy duck sausage to Atlantic Halibut (including a gnocchi option which is arguably Shane’s favorite meal of the year). The food was exquisite, although we weren’t surprised at all considering Francesca is a Boston food blogger! We were, again, mesmerized by the floral design on the tablescape and by the personal touches F+C incorporated in the details (….like Sophie, their Bulldog, embossed on cocktail napkins)
