The Lace Factory | Deep River, Connecticut

Carrie & Nick made it official back in October on a perfect fall day. The New England tones were out of this world and the weather couldn’t have been better. We instantly connected with these two when they told us their pup, Beans, would be in attendance on the wedding day! [ We have a special spot for dog lovers here. ] We started the day at the most adorable Airbnb in Essex, Connecticut where Carrie and her crew got ready. Her effortless hair and makeup (shout out All Dolled Up !) complimented her Jenny Yoo gown perfectly. We headed out to The Lace Factory in Deep River, Connecticut where Carrie & Nick’s did their first look in the entrance patio followed by group and family portraits in front of the parked trains across the street. (1 of many photo opportunities this venue has is that it is located right next to the Essex Steam Train & Riverboat parked train carts.) Guests began arriving and making their way to the venue’s courtyard for the ceremony. Cocktail hour followed shortly after where C+N were able to mingle with their guests (perks of a first look!) We were able to steal them away for 10 minutes for the sunset and golden hour photos right by the Connecticut River. The couple joined their family and friends on the dance floor with blow up party props and foam glow sticks and danced the night away! All the elements and moments of their wedding were so beautifully put together and we feel so lucky we got to capture these moments for them!
